After the Legendary had finished eating, she decided to go to the Wreck Reef for scavenging and training. Once they arrived, Kaito noticed an odd looking blue and pink shape in the water. It was a Popplio Finneon fusion, and he was being attacked by a gang of Staryu Voltorb fusions! Seeing the injured and dazed fusion, Kaito went into the water and helped take the other out. Mayu and Tomoe teamed up to take down the attackers with a Thunder wave and Hex combo. The Pichu Ralts fusion also learned Psychic to move the other fusions away from Kaito. Seeing how much the little Water Fire penguin was caring for another besides himself, Feliciana caught him and named him Namiko.
After that was over, real training could begin! Since Tomoe and Mayu were already out of their Pokeballs, they sparred first. Tomoe learned Confusion, Lucky chant, and Stored power. Mayu learned Spite, Encore, and Confuse ray. Mareo and Kentaro were up next. Mareo took on the defensive with Water sport and Reflect before using Stone edge. Kentaro was severely injured, but he wasn’t going to give up so easily. He learned Counter, Force Palm, Reversal, Feint, and Flame wheel. The last sparring match for the evening was between Homura and Reigen. Homura learned Fire fang, Incinerate, Nobel roar, Hyper voice, and Take down. Reigen learned Charge, Spark, Bite, Thunder fang, Trick or treat, and Shadow sneak.
