Another GIF made with After Effects and Photoshop! I'm pretty proud of the result; working with 2 characters in 1 image is time consuming! Anyways, I hope you all enjoy!
I had a bit of trouble with shading on these guys. I had originally planned something different, that's why you see some blue in the character on the left's hair. I really need to practice how to draw fur...

Oh my god. This is amazing. I love the shading, the smoothness of the animation, and the detail used in the fur and hair. I also really like how clean the loop is. I also really love the ribbons!
The only thing about this is the landscape. The grass, the leaves on the tree, and the clouds are moving in an odd vertical wave which is pretty unrealistic. The leaves should be swaying side to side, the clouds should be moving horizontally across the sky, and the grass doesn't move that wave. It moves in a less wavy way and goes off to the side more.
Overall, this is great, keep up the good work!

The color/colour scheme is very nice and blends together well, however with the after effects on the blossoms the clouds looks very unnatural.
The clouds near flowers move with the effect while the others don't which makes it look odd.
On a positive note the expressions on both their faces looks natural and adds mood into the piece.
Cherry blossoms are used very often in art, but with the movement this helps set mood within the image.
The shading is very well done and adds realism to the image along with texture. This picture is owns a very calming impact.

If I had to critique this at all, I would say that the clouds by the leaves look a bit out of place because they are waving back and forth with the leaves. I would take the extra time to make sure only the leaves were swaying, because swaying clouds look a bit weird, but other than that this is beautiful, I tried looking for more things to help you get better on but I couldn't find any, even if you don't win the contest (which you probably will win) you should totally be proud of this, you have come so far and being able to watch you progress has been awesome! I enjoy your art a lot! (Also, have a nice birthday!)
