Description

The Hoenn Youth Solo League is a version of the standard 8 badge gym challenge intended for children 11-17 years of age. It is functionally the same, albeit gyms tone down their battling level and winners cannot become Reigning Champions even should they complete the challenge. Like most youth challenges, it is usually undertaken by young trainers trying to get scouted by Pro Battle League teams- those talented enough to have already been scouted also participate as part of their training.
