"Let's get him started on some jumps; we can't keep him on the flat forever," Kyle frowned at Luis' look of doubt.

"He's got Arabian in him, who says he'll be good at it anyway?" he gave up his argument as Kyle's look of disapproval and irritation flashed across his face.

"Okay, okay," he huffed and picked up the reins, in which Griffon snorted and flattened his ears as he always did.

"Oh shut up you grumpy little thing," Luis muttered and trotted the pissy stallion towards an extremely small vertical to see what he'd do.

"Ease up a bit, give him his head and get into a small two-point in case h---"

Before Kyle could get the words out, Griffon had caught sight of the poles, bolted into a full gallop, gathered his entire body up, and literally flew into the air.

"SWEET JES---!!!!!!" Luis whacked the back of his saddle's seat and just as quickly jolted forward towards Griffon's neck. The stallion had jumped nearly 3-4ft higher than he needed and had a look of WTFISGOINGTOHAPPEN in his eyes as the ground came up fast and Luis began to crash against his neck.

Ah, training days..
