"Tell me again Masao, what are we going to accomplish by doing this?" Ethan asked, holding a hand to his chin.

Masao adjusted his glasses and flipped through the papers on his clipboard. "We're going to get more information about the rival host club."

"Couldn't Charlie have done that anyway?"

"Thomas is far too smart to give anything to Charlie without a price."

"So . . . what are we making Charlie do anyway?"

The curtain was pulled back and the figure adjusted their glasses and fixed their hair. They cleared their throat and looked over at the guys, who had their eyes wide and their jaws dropped.

"Ch-Charlie?!"

"Chansler," she (or rather he) corrected them, "It's Chansler."

Surprisingly her voice had adjusted perfectly for the role. The glasses were a very nice touch. She had the perfect slouch, yet straight, posture.

In truth, she was a very pretty boy.

"Wow Charlie . . . " Ryuki stared at her, "if I were gay I'd totally have you."

"That's really disturbing."

"But," he said mumbling,"WHY!? WHY CHANGE GORGEOUS CHARLIE INTO A MAN?!"

"Because Thomas already knows you all," Charlie shrugged, "he'd barely recognize me . . . I'm 'applying' for a job there."

They heard the front door open. Hayate in all his glory waltzed right in . . . with his man bitch trailing behind. His eyes went to Ethan instantly, then took in the new face.

"Heyyy there sexyy," he purred as his fingers traced circles on Charlie's arm.

The cry of "I'M RIGHT HERE," from the man bitch went unheard.

Awkward.

Nevertheless Charlie kept her composure, despite the fact she felt like throwing up, and smiled slightly.

"A pleasure to meet you."

Masao grinned and pushed up his glasses.

"She's definitely ready."
