Description
I don't really know why I did a picture of chess, but I really like it. I was trying to get a watercolor look without bleeding everything together. This took me about two days, which was a lot faster than I thought it would take me!

This is exactly what I meant when I talked about you seeing the beauty of things and looking closely. In this piece you have patterns and a close and intimate beauty.

Thanks, and I think I get what you mean, I'll try to do more things with strange angles and such.

This is excellent. I love the perspective. I love it when artists get close up and intimate with things. I would even like to see it CLOSER if possible. Interesting things start to happen. Great work!

Thanks, but like I said, my art teacher helped a little, plus she had the BEST paints in the world. The paints practically did the work for me, they blended a little, but not to much. Thanks again!

It looks very pixelated for a traditional work. .o. I seem to recall a filter that photoshop has that makes this same effect. xD; lol, it's very nice. Did you use the watercolour in the tube or the tray?

I used watercolor in the tray at school, but I also used some other paint (I forget what) in some spots so it wouldn't all smear. Watercolors hate me, they ALWAYS smear on me to much
As for the effect in photoshop, I wish I could see it, I don't own photoshop, just Paint Shop Pro. What a strange coincidence!
