Botaneon!!!

Evolution of Leafeon! WAS for 's loooong gone competition, but now it's reduced to a club submission

Evolves from: Leafeon
Nature Pokemon
Ability: Chlorophyll (Speed is raised in sunshine) or Leaf Guard (All status problems healed in sunshine)
Evolves by level up w/ Magical Leaf (Would have been leaf blade but it learns that level 71)

This Pokemon is rarely found, so well does its body camouflage it. It lives in ancient forests untainted by humans, where it cares for all around it. The vines curling from its back can be used to bind wounds, making this a rare healing Pokemon. The bark on its paws and back is soft and pale after evolution, but as it grows older the bark gets steadily harder and darker like many of the trees in its forest home. This can be used to tell a Botaneon's age, much like tree rings. The bark straightens out until it is a row of sharp spikes that it uses to protect its home from invaders.
