Started this about two months ago. It's my first semi-open canvas. I used a sketch that I built off on and got this. Praise me
lol!
Anyways, was inspired by a fic I read yet I changed it and have made up my own little side story for this. Took forever to draw and color and I am still not that satisfied with it. I don't like it as much as I did but whatever thought I might as well post it *sigh*.

Considering this is semi-open canvass, it's actually really good. Again, I just love your colours, they blend together so well. Not to mention, you've got a unique style of colouring.
There's such a dark and almost angsty element to this picture, which is so great. His face looks so sad...naww, I feel so sorry for him. What happened?
Advanced critique, hmm? Well, I guess the only critique I can give you is the blood...the way you've got it seeping into his jeans is brilliant, but it's just too red on the skin. Try mixing some burgundies and browns with the red and imagine what coffee granules and blackcurrent juice would look like mixed together. Lol, I know it sounds weird, but it works...coffee and blackcurrent makes for great fake blood.
Other than that, he rocks. And OMG, I love his hair so much!

I can't remember how it happened exactly. But in the story that inspired it, he was already extremely bad off and leaving the one person he loved to protect her. He's such an asshole, I assure you. lol!
