Man when I think back, there were some bbs's i went to that had these 3-5 page long ANSIs that were amazing, if i could go back in time and find those again... well take care.

Nope, ansi is the artform. When multiple artists draw on the same ansi we usually call it an "ansi joint". Softwares like Pablodraw allow users to draw on-line real time on the same ansi.

Well, the ansi drawing mode is based on keyboard function keys, as instance, F4 for a solid block, F5 for a half-upper block, F6... and so on. No mouse activity is required during an ansi creation. The colors are also limited to 16 colors (8 LIGHT colors and 8 DARK colors), where the light colors cannot be used as background color in the blocks.
Pablodraw makes the job pretty easy for windows users to start drawing ansi, mainly to itΒ΄s feature of real-time drawing mode with multiple users. If you wish to give it at shot any day, just drop me a msg so i can set a pablo server.
