Your vectors still never cease to amaze me. You're ability to color and manipulate shapes is absolutely stunning.

As for tuts, there are many all over the web. A simple google search will show you lots of process videos and specific lessons for AI. If I'm being honest though, I've never really been able to watch videos of other people explaining how to do things. It doesn't work for me. It's better to just learn it yourself by trial and error. If you really want to learn Adobe Illustrator get the book 'Adobe Illustrator CS(x) Classroom in a Book'. It has everything you need.
There are no surprises with Adobe Illustrator. It is what it is. Once you get past the initial sessions learning the basics you'll be flying like a Dragon!
