I love this. When my norwegian forest cat was young she'd bring in live baby mice and drop them in her food dish heh. This takes one back a few years.

I know it is their instinct but I really do not enjoy it when my cat decides he want to bring me little mousy and birdy presents which are either already dead alive and I have to get it back out of the house. Or, he decides to eat it in front of me and I have to clean up after him.

My tabby likes to hunt moles. They are kind of like mice on steroids. Very aggressive, moles are and Missy used to have some battle royales with them. But she almost always killed them.

I have a cat that looks just like that, with the same "bad" habit. Poor rodents.
It's amazing how you captured the photo. When my cat thinks I am going to try and free his catch, he takes off.
