█ COMMENTS:Ohkay entry for #DissidiaAces 's Round One and I have to say I find this assignment hard and I'm so nervous. ;A; This is my first time doing something like this and not only did I get a FFXIII character - something that I have almost zero knowledge of and wow this man is overshadowed orz, his face being not my usual pretty boy style gave me lots of trouble to shape! Hence the.. weird-ish face.
Oh and there's that thing - my opponent's drawing skill! jsgjkasgla uugh! /rolls to a corner ;w; You can check out =Vick444y 's entry over here , btw!
..uhm enough me whining. Scene details;
Sazh seems like a good guy, a good-kind one, while Beatrix on the other hand, you know how she gets in front of an enemy. So the scene I have in my head is Sazh trying to be friendly (they only met anyway) only to get Beatrix suddenly starts attacking. Yesss she should start as a Chaos Warrior before turning to the good guys just as in IX.
And Order Sanctuary was chosen because this is the beginning, yes? Hopefully.EDITED:
09/16/12 fixed his eyes a bit. OTL. And some extra minor details.

Lovely portrait of Beatrix! I also really like the sense of motion in her pose and Sazh's coat, and the details too. His coat looks great, and I like his wary expression.

(and Sazh too, he's not as bad as you depict it in your artist comment XD I would only say that his eye seems a little off, because the face his seen from the side but the eye seems frontal)

When I have this kind of problems I look at myself in the mirror or I ask my mom to pose for me =3 Have you tried to search for some reference? They can be of great help

I always thought Nomura would love his traditionally designed characters (Cloud, Sephiroth, etc.) but I guess he has a soft-spot for the manlier, less-conventional FF characters.
