This image just came to my mind one day. It's really bugging me, because I think I've seen something like this somewhere... Well, it not like it's very clever or original anyway.Alternative title for this is 'Mom, it followed me home, can I keep it?'
I filed this under Macabre & Horror, though I don't think it's really neither. Except that girl is somewhat creepy.
I hate making up these things - the descriptions I mean. As I'm not a native English speaker it's about as pleasent as... well, I was going to say eating barbwire, but that doesn't really have anything to do with anything and I really prefer writing these things to eating barbwire.
Anyway, keywords suck.

Hey, I was showing your gallery to my boyfriend, who has just been drooling over your stuff, and he said this about this piece, and I wanted to comment to let you know. (I love this piece too, but I wanted to let him gush for a moment ^^)
I would definitely hang this on my wall. It's fantastic, it's uber-cool. I don't know art, but I know what I like and this is THE most impressive piece of art that I've seen in close to a decade. I used to doodle something close to this, with the beast in the darkness, and I'm a huge Lovecraft fan and it inspires a huge Lovecraft story in and of itself. Just, fucking fantastic!

Yeah, I can't remember where I found it, but it's still lingering around, and I love the whole "Glowing Eyes and Teeth" deal, so the instant I saw it I said "That's SO going into my Favs." You didn't a magnificent job.

Boy, that dark creature reminds me of the days of depression I was goin thru back when I was 16 yrs old. and that little girl reminds me so much of my innocence as well. O_O Very creepy! But very artistic, at the same time, too. ^_^

It just draws you in, I don't get it. Lookin through your gallery see this one, and it's like... can't look away, must full view, must admire, and ponder over. It's just to good to not fav or pass up.

Funny, this is the second fav I've gotten for this piece recently.. And the piece itself is over a year old. One of the few older works that survived my annual gallery cleaning. I was actually thinking of doing a remake on it.

I've been watching a lot of Miayzaki films like Spirted Away, Nausicaa, and Princess Monoke. Your beast character reminds a lot of his characters in his films. They are creepy at first but then when you get to know them they are very kind.
this is a beautiful piece, you shouldn't be ashamed of yourself.
For some reason that girl reminds me of a stop motion animation character of Nightmare Before Christmas. You know, like the little kids that Jack Skeleton stops by on christmas night.

You know what, I think you should do another one with this creature but with a photography. I think he might look creepier in a very realistic enviroment intead of being so close to the composition. Here it works because it contrasts from the little girl. Oh well, why not kick around with that idea.
