YEAH! Quarter of a century after the fact Captain N slam!As I see it, this will get funnier if Simon Belmont is in the game...
pfft, silly idea I had a few days ago and I sketched out. I started jumping from project to project and realized I was going to leave this sit for too long so I tried to finish it in a hurry to put it out while it's almost still topical. Trying to figure out Pit from the character art is kind of hard, his hair doesn't seem to be too consistent and the art seems to favor a few poses that make some of the details a bit tough to figure out... ah well, whatever.
At least this time Pit can get called his actual name...

Yeah, just let me get a time travel machine, go back to before '4' 3DS and WiiU came out and warn myself that the sequel would actually reunite the Captain N cast in five years.

Neither of them has gotten a decent game put out in years. And yes, I'm including Uprising. I said decent. Utter 4th wall smashing doesn't make a good game.
Hey, these two, Simon, Sonic, and lots of other Nintendo characters need new awesome games put to their name. The only ones who aren't getting shafted are Samus, Link, Mario, and...not sure if Fox counts or not.
It's a sad era for once famous game icons.

I am really going to disagree on Uprising, I think that's probably the only decent Kid Icarus game. I don't see how its fourth wall abuse affects the gameplay.

It doesn't make for bad gameplay, but 4th wall smashing ruins story, and a lot of Nintendo games and their characters were based in their story, which made them so memorable. The gameplay in Uprising was great; it was the thing about it in my opinion. The story...completely opposite end. And the way they incorporated 4th wall breaking just ruined the story for me. If they took that out, I would have enjoyed it a lot more.

I noticed that Pit didn't even CARE about his verbal tick.
And Simon in the game of course had a very different personality.

Awesome comic! Great stuff! I can imagine Megaman would be annoyed (and even haunted) by the memory of his depiction in Captain N.

I would think that series would be kind of traumatic. I sort of decided that Kid Icarus was so corny and fourth wall breaking that Pit might shrug it off, though maybe he should resent the fact he didn't get to go by his actual name.
