080924-N-9620B-006 TERRE DE NEGRES, Haiti (Sept. 24, 2008) Haitian children watch medical personnel from the amphibious assault ship USS Kearsarge (LHD 3) as they conduct a health assessment in their village to determine what aid will be needed for future relief efforts. Service members from the Navy, Army, Air Force, Marines, and Coast Guard, along with medical personnel from the U.S. Public Health Service, Canadian Army, Air Force and Navy, Brazil, Project HOPE and International Aid, embarked aboard Kearsarge, are working together to conduct hurricane relief operations in Haiti.
