I hope people get this...I've always wondered why the show is called "Bleach," and a while ago I decided this must be the reason. I mean, in every episode at least one character bleeds basically all their blood away during a fight, so, yeah...

I was thinking about that too until i looked up the japanese meaning 4 bleach and i found that Bleach means "soul cleanser" in Japanese.

You know what? I actually forgot about Nell. I really liked her, too, and now that I think about it I don't remember what happened to her after her fight...She should definitely come back – she was so cool!

Its called Bleach 'cause of the whole "when everything returns to nothing" theme. That's what bleach does in removing stains as well.

Yup, that's what Getsuga Tensho does, you see those words when he does the technique in the final fight against Aizen (if you remember).
I used to think it was called Bleach 'cause how all the hollows were black or dark, but when they become Arrancars suddenly they are all white looking.
