Oh my God!!! Ok, so I finished this piece about two weeks ago (it seems) and I haven't posted it until now because my camera is complete shit. As it is, this picture came out a little cropped, but it's the best I got.Anyway, I got the inspiration for this from and his bad-ass Naruto paintings, and also a bit from the movie "The A-Team." LOL
If you can't see already, this is (from L - R) Nausicaa, San, and Sophie, from Miyazaki's collection. Nausicaa has a gun because she used one in the movie and manga, San has knives because so did she, and Sophie has a a flame-thrower because of Calcifer!
I tried to make their clothes kinda like what they are in the movies, while not having it be an exact copy.
Anyway, I hope you like it. I'm pretty proud of it ^_^ although it looks so much better in real life!

Haha it's true! It took me 47 tries just to get this picture. For some reason in all the other ones there was always a reflection over San like a flash, even though I didn't use flash.

Nausicaa means burning of the ship. So the scene is somewhat appropriate.

wah! I can't imagine Sophie being destructive! I mean, the other two are active and have weapon experience, but Sophie uses the power of words, not weapons. I love the picture though, especially since you did it in paint, and acrylic drys so fast!! you really did make it look great.

Yeah, I know, but I really wanted to put her in the picture LOL Nausicaa did use a gun, but the entire movie (if I remember correctly – haven't watched it in a while) she was trying to stop all the violence.
