Day 14: Hexperiment number 27. Mordecai is a hybrid, or a "Chimera" as I prefer to call them, since Chimeras are basically mixed up animals. Discord is a chimera as well, as many other Greek Mythology creatures are. Plus there is not a clear definition of what a Chimera is, since every ancient greek author has a different appearance for it. I had to get a definition, so here we are.
As I was saying, Mordecai is a Chimera-Hybrid between a deer, a butterfly, a wolf and a some kind of dark dragon. He's one of the most successful Chimeras I have created, some of them deceased right after the Hexperiment or some not making it after a couple of weeks. Alongside with Ruth and many others he's capable of thinking and elabourating complex informations. He's capable of verbal and non-verbal speech, he's able to communicate by telepathy and has developed a certain fondness for nature itself. His personality doesn't quite match his physical appearance because... Err well, he's a cinnamon roll, he instantly loves everything that moves and I'm afraid he's quite gullible as well... I'll let him out the enclosure from time to time, to observe his behaviour with the other specimens.
One thing that surprised me is his diet, he eats only flower nectar. Apparently he has the tongue of a butterfly, a straw-like tongue.
