Fantastic. (I personally like this the best of your Night Fury collection because it has more natural colors) It's great how you convey feeling through your art. And StarrySunlight is right, the lighting is amazing. Great job, Eslakon.

And yeah a lot better colors to work with here, I love shading black skin now, and you have no idea how long it took me just to get the angle of the lighting correct due to it being my first time really trying this style of portrait. See any things I could change to make it better?

This drawing looks a bit different than the other Night Furies you've made recently, mostly due to the bright reflections and extreme shadows caused by the light directly overhead. It's a really tough thing to pull off, and you did it very well.
You could make the eyelashes and eyelid a bit smoother; from this angle it looks sort of concave and sunk in. If I had to choose something though; what bothers me (and I use the word "bother" in a sense a house would be bothered by a leaf landing on it) is the nose area. The nose seems to kind of just jut out there because there is no extra detailing like you put on your Request for Sammy, but if you look at the picture in its full size, it isn't that bad. Then again, the lack of detail might be because the picture is washed out due to the light. :/
The only other minor gripe I can find is the physics of the grass; they seem to be pushed away from the nose for no apparent reason. Usually, when I lay on grass, it isn't that heavenly image you see in magazines or romance movies; it gets in your ears and jabs your back. 
Wait... did I just comment about realism on a picture of a sleeping dragon on the grass with lights coming down from heaven?? Oh well. Fantastic drawing, still. d-^_^-b
