sorry to be the first retarded one [lmao] but, im having a bit of a problem. first i use paint shop pro 7, photoshop 7, and just currently bought adobe photoshop CS2 off ebay [it should be in here any day now thank god!] and i can seem to find any good water/splash brushes for the programs. im slowly learning the photoshop 7 now but i guess im good with the psp7. what program did you ddo this on? is there any chance you can load the water brushes yourself on here? and also, i cant get to shadow right for some reason, its weird looking, do you have any tut for that? so sorry if im bothering you. thanks!

Well first off you're no bother at all! i'm happy to help, or at least try lol.
The program i was using to make this tutorial was Adobe photoshop elements 4.0 and i haven't used ps7 but i don't know that it would be allll that different, i'm not sure to be honest hehee. Since you are getting CS2 (which is awesome, i have CS4 and LOOOOOVVVVEEEE it) i would look for tutorials and brushes focused souly on that, same with the other programs you have. I would upload some brushes for you but due to my father reformatting the computer i used to use, and moving out i don't have ps useable right now.
As i said though i'm moving, so i have a mac that has CS4 on it but just needs internet so once i get it here and hooked up i'll be back in the biz thank God! Once i get hooked up i'll try to make some brushes, and i can help you with your shadows no problem!! or, like i said i'll try to help lol.
Also with some splashes, a cheat-sheet trick is to find a picture of actual splashes, with similar lighting to your picture, and water color and cut them out then fade and blend it into your picture

oh take your time, i just moved into my new house a month ago! its tuff! thanks for replying your note is very helpful, and i did what you said to look for brushes/tuts thats workable on my ps cs2 program, and i finally found the splash brushes, thanks! wow i saw the PS CS4 cost like $600!! but then i saw a website thats selling it for only $55! i got my PS CS2 from ebay for $100. so i think i got a good deal, hehe. but thanks alott!
also how do you get the horses shadow? i tried but it wont like right, its only good for text i thik, its one of my most favorite look but i dont know what to do ;[
