Description
-Download for Full Size-I made my life easier by making this, so I thought I'd share it ^^
It's a sort of template I use when I make thumbnails of my manga/comics. Why did I lay it out like this?
The rectangles ARE NOT proportionate to a standard comic or manga page, but like I said, this helps as a sort of blueprint before I start to pencil on larger sized paper.
If you share this outside of DA please keep the credit on the page. Otherwise if you use it for personal use you can get rid of the credit xD

What do you do on the bottom-most right with the tools being indicated? Do you just state how many you used?

what would the single pages be used for? Covers? Or the are they the first and last page?

It's really up to you. When you open any book, there is always a single page on the right which is considered the first page. You can do a cover, title or copyright page here...it's up to you. This is unnecessary if you never plan printing it.

Thank you very much for doing the most distracting part of the work for me! Now I can focus on the main thing instead of perfecting templates! XP
I really appreciate it!

Interesting. I have my own comic layout sheets that I relied on, but this seems a lot better. I especially like the way it indicates double page spreads and the section for Due Date is very important, even if you're making them for yourself. And when I was a kid, I limited myself to 16 pages for my comics too... I might just have to make use of these.

The thumbnail layout was actually something I was taught in art school, but I never thought of making a digital version of it (until recently, I guess). I do hope it comes in handy for you, please use it as you see fit!

What a great idea! I have no trouble thinking up stories and drawing specific things, but I have a lot of trouble with paneling and working out the flow of a story page-by-page. I do thumbnail storyboards when it comes to roughing out animation ideas, so doing the same for manga makes perfect sense! I'll make a layout of my own, but thanks for the inspiration! ^^

THANK YOU SO MUCH! I'm planning on making a series of unrelated comics, so this is really helpful, as I don't know how one really does the pages. Thanks so much again!
