At first I didn`t know that it will be a boy so I intended to make it pastel green and yellow, but then I got a tip that it will be a boy ^__^On the tag: When children are born, the sun is shining and the clouds dance around.

There is still a lot of superstition, which does not allow you to enjoy having a child before its birth.
That`s why this box will be given at a celebration that will occur 7 days after the mother and her baby come back home - so they have time to settle down, before the family and friends get invited to welcome the newborn.

Love this. If the lid didn't have flowers on top, you could turn it upside down, invert the box, and make it a cube again with the carriage on top and the lid holding the flaps together on bottom.

You have a great idea, but I think there would be a problem with the decorations on the flaps. There would need to be some extra 25 mm empty space on the top of the flap to do it the way You describe, because I don`t know if it would fit in the lid with all those flowers. I will be doing another box like this one and I will see if it`s possible - the I will report to You my findings ^_-

I had to do a double take when I saw the category this was submitted to. Then I had to look more closely at the art itself. It's amazing that this is made out of paper. It looks like a carving. Beautiful work!
