Because that's where this gal's design came from. I think in the dream she was called a lich queen, but after looking up what a lich is, that doesn't quite fit. That's ok.I... have no idea what this would belong under... Technically, it's an oekaki since it was done on Tegakie.com... Ah, well...
I had fun doing this. Not exactly a typical pic from me. lol.
Let me know how I did on the shading, m'kay?

I'm fairly certain her design was not completely influenced by Star Wars... But then again, dreams do tend to pull out some rather random things. lol.

The shading looks really nice - I like how it's all blendy and stuff. It looks like she's glowing eerily! haha. I want to pull on her feelers... not sure why though.

Awesome! I love the shading on the hood. I think the shadings pretty good...lol rhyme xDD. I like the high contrast you created in this peice as well.
xD It does kind of say starwars mixed with some other less spacey fantasy,which gives it sort of an original flaire. This was from your dream? D: I've always wanted to paint my dreams, but alas I don't dream often/remember my dreams often. And all the other dreams I had worth remembering are pretty abstract right now Dx.

Oy, some folks were mentioning that the cloth looked too "blocky" on her knees. Thoughts?
There are a few dreams I make an effort to remember. I usually wake up and try to continue the story for as long as I can. I lose a lot of details anyway, but there are a few things that stick out most.

xD oi wait sorry. I forgot to continue. "but notice how the folds curve around her knee?"Loose cloth typically curves around the knees when someone is sitting down. The fact that all the folds stop ast the knee makes it look a little awkward/blocky.

I remember having a nightmare that involved an episode of Sesame Street. It was a Bert and Ernie skit, and Ernie was a pharaoh in an ancient pyramid while Bert was an explorer. The Ernie in my dream was just scary, though, and the pyramid collapsed and my entire family was trapped and died in it. D: That's STILL the most vivid dream I can remember, and I must've been three or four when I had that one...

Hmm, it does look a little bit blocky on her knees compared to the hood and the sleeves. [link] It my not be the best reference, but notice how the folds curve around her knee? The way you painted the knees gives the impression that they're pinched together(if they are there should be way more folds gathering at the knees). If not, there should be a dip in the cloth between the knees. I hope that helps some.
x] Oh yeah I know what you mean! I still remember some dreams from my childhood. I don't remember all the details, but at least remember a scene from it. Most of the one's I remember I died in them though xDDD;;;;;.
