Description
After getting a lot of feedback about how the shading on the last pic wasn't very smooth, I decided to see how much patience I have to try to get things smoother. Soooo this is my queen again. I... don't think I succeeded in my attempts.
Ah, well. I kind of like my rough Tegaki style. (A.k.a. I'm not willing to put the hugemungous time/effort in to make it uber smooth, so this will just have to do. lol.) Surprisingly, none of the pictures I've drawn of this gal have been my usual anime-style stuff.
I like her design, so I think I'll keep this gal. I've also about decided that this gal is so eerie that even Jerry would probably go great lengths to avoid her. lol. I can't imagine her doing too much to him without provocation, but even still. So, for now, she's in the "storyless" category alongside Jerry. One day...
Done on Tegakie, again.
No idea on the time since I left in the middle of it for a few hours.
Design belongs to me. You take her design, and I will sic Jerry on you and your children and even supply him with some extra spices to make you taste better.

It does look smoother than the other peice. I have to agree with everyone else though. I love seeing brush strokes it adds character and a bit of texture too. Alot oil paintings have visible brush strokes in them(sometimes you have to almost touch them with your face to see it)lol, even if they look real smooth/photorealistic from a distance. My favorite cg artists have visible brushe strokes too :3 Everything in life isn't smoothshineydesu, it has texture darnit!! So, why does your art have to be? xDD;; okay imma shut up before I start ranting.

Getting it to look smooth takes a lot of time X_X I don't mind that it's "rough"...I like to see all the brush strokes that the artist used to make up their piece. I think there can be a lot of beautiful things in an artist's brush strokes. ...Yeah that sounds lame, but it's true~! XD

I also like your "rough" style! I find there's more to look at! Like the laying of colors and the effects of those colors when they're layered on top of each other! Well, this is still pretty! lol

I like the shading. Sure, it isn't ultra smooth, but I'm almost sick of everyone trying to get a realistic look with smooth skin. Texture is kickass, too.
