This is fantastic. I love the large strokes and the dark colors that make everything fade into each other except for his avatar state glow. I've been looking at so much ATLA and Korra stuff lately that you think you've seen it all. Until, of course, you come across a picture like this.

If it's an inheritable trait, then yeah, it very well could. Though, if we went canon, they'd probably have a tendency toward waterbending.

I know that water bending and air bending are likely to be possible with his kids. But, it is not known whether or not the other bendings could be as well. As the Avatar, his spirit allows for the capacity for all four. But, it is unknown whether or not the others can as well be transferred.

I'm also still holding out for the possibility that other "bending" tendencies can be born into families who live in areas where only one type of bending is expected. But then again, I think that's largely where the movie was going with the multiethnic Air Nomad race.

It would be awesome if it were true though, that air bending is technically found in all four corners of the world and thusly why all 4 temples are found on all cardinal points... And collecting people to inhabit each temple and shuffling them around and having them travel(nomad-like) around, female sisters & monks alike... [/ranting about theory]
