Description
So, been working late again, making it harder to do my own work afterwards. However, I do have some sketches, so thought I would go ahead and post them. Basically, much like the last work I did on, this series is starting with our star as a baby, as I have a few ideas on that, and it would be a bit different anyhow. Basically this was me testing out drawing the creature a few different ways, as well as set up some bigger pieces I may have in mind, such as the art of him overlooking the ocean and rising sun. As before, I'm keeping that this particular Godzilla begins his existence as a four legged reptilian creature, though I have made a few changes from the previous design, mainly I've rethought how the tail will work, I was never really satisfied with how the side spikes I have running along the edges of his back kind of ended abruptly near the base of the tail, so now the back spikes in general will continue all the way through, with the end spikes getting longer as well. That last bit is bit inspired by the general classic notion of what Godzilla was based on, namely a T-Rex/Stegosaurus hybrid, to a certain degree, so emphasizing that aspect, even though my Godzilla is clearly no dinosaur mutation.
