KONG, The Skull King

Height: 50 ft
Mass: 7 tons

Abilities
Intelligence - Befitting of a giant ape, Kong possesses a keen intellect, able to solve problems rapidly, and figure out how to take down his enemies
Strength - Owing to his large size, Kong has the strength to crush a stone in his fist, giving him bone crushing power in each blow.

Continuing on, here is my version of Kong, at least as he starts. Much like the earlier examples of Mothra, Angurius and Rodan, he too will be affected by Godzilla and mutate into a much stronger form later. As I intend that form to be more exaggerated, and bringing in his electrical powers as a result of his mutations, I wanted his initial state to be more classic. As far as his appearance, maybe not facially, but I wanted to call back to the original Kong from 1933. I did use more or less his color scheme from King Kong vs Godzilla, much as the latest movie Kong: Skull Island did, but they also interpreted him as being fully upright with more humanoid proportions. As I'm wanting him to be more like the original at his current state, he is able to stand on two legs, but he also can and probably uses knuckle walking more often.

Here he is standing up, somewhat awkwardly as he inspects this strange reptile, who is swatting at him with as much fury as he can muster. Ultimately, Kong doesn't see the infant as a threat, though something strikes him as foul, leading him to chase Godzilla off, forcing him to hide out on a part of the island that Kong does not directly claim. However, despite his intelligence, he never even considered the possibility this tiny creature would grow to match him, growing to stand on equal footing, to challenge him as King.

I'm also going to retire my little AbsoluteWeapon logo, going to figure out something else for that, kind of fitting my new artistic direction.
