One of my favorite things about the MU/Gaius pairing is that they’re both branded with marks that mean something bad (MU’s Mark of Grima and Gaius’s convicted criminal tattoo). I like to think they’d both struggle with seeing themselves as more than what their marks say they are (we already know from Gaius’s Harvest Scramble convo with Libra that he sees himself as just “the right tool for the job,” the “job” being the Shepherds’ dirty work), and that they’d support each other through all that.
… And then my art hand slipped because the idea was too great to just sit around in my head for the rest of my life and also I haven’t drawn Gaitani art in FOREVER.
also i listened to the Mastermind track from the FE:A OST for the entire time i was drawing this

This is a pretty cool drawing, as always. I haven't put any thought in the connection between the tactician (That's my way of naming MU, because...I can?) and Gaius like this until now.

Heh, I tend to use EVERY SECOND OF MY FREE TIME thinking of EVERY SINGLE POSSIBLE CONNECTION between the member of my OTPs, soooo… yeah. I think about fandoms wayyyy too much. XD

Let's keep out fingers crossed that you'll get a chance soon. I recently finished first three games, which are part of a trilogy and I would highly recommend you get it, either in an emulator or the trilogy pack that's in the e-shop for $29. The game's dialogue is both funny and intresting, same goes with the story, which makes each case connect with eachother, some minor, while others really, really important for the development of later ones. Oh, and I think this is due to the localization team, but the game loves to throw pop-culture references every now and then. They even referenced the infamous line from the 90's Zelda cartoon.
