How is Eggman certain that Nicole won't use Shadow to double cross him?

Mostly, he's underestimating Nicole's deviousness being the egotist he is. We don't see it in the story, but Eggman and Nicole regularly work together in this canon.

The nanite tendril stuff kinda just pushed them off to make room for the nanite-gloves. It didn't read well.

So, the circle's finally closing. Nicole has infiltrated GUN and incapacitated Shadow so she could bring him to Eggman because GUN sold him like a lifeless object for some stupid weapons from which they already got more than neccessary
Then Nicole brouht his mind under her controll.
We know the rest from Issue 1 when Eggman brought Shadow to kill Sonic and his friends. After breaking free he sees Sonic in his ghost form disappearing whats connecting to Issue 12/13. Suddenly he appears in the mirrow in his unfinished ghost form Vinni was in ( Issue 12 Page 15/16 ) and posesses Shadow so he becomes tramatramatized
( perhaps Sonic trying to talk through him ) Then Rouge, Omega and Team Chaotix find him.
And now we are here finding out what happened and how everything began. ( That would explain why Shadows "frivolous fashion accessoires" were there)

I'm guessing it was her controlling the nanities inside Shadow's system that allowed her to subdue him in the first place.

So Nicole essentially wiped out all of the Sonic Heroes saved Chaotix and Dark teams and was responsible for the massacre of the Ark if I'm reading right. So...the entire plot of this web comic is Nicole's fault.
