Christmas is less than a week away (not to mention all the other holidays around this time of year) and I think the artist is still in school so exams are a thing that might be happening. Then there's the fact that the weather can decide to take down power lines on a whim and leave no electricity for internet connections. Basically, any number of real life factors are contributing to the delay right now.

I mean, I'm not upset that I'm not getting something I don't pay for and am getting for free right this second, but it seems to never be uploaded on time as of recent. It's a bit inconsistent when you always say it will be up on Sunday.

Don't know if you saw it, but sorry for my other message-- I ranted at you about my schedule a bit, and it really wasn't called for. I'm pretty stressed out dealing with finals and work/commitments, and some computer problems.
I'm hoping I can get GOTF back on a more reliable schedule soon, but until I'm done with school in 2018 I can't promise much of anything. Bottom line, the comic's not going anywhere. I've been at this for almost ten years, and I have no intention of quitting 'till the job's done.

Thank you for the reply. Don't worry, I understand a busy schedule, it can get in the way of many things. Work on the more important stuff and get to the comic when you can. Won't make me enjoy it any less to wait a bit longer, I was just commenting on the inconsistent schedule. Thank you for making this amazing comic in your spare time and I hope to enjoy it for a long time to come!

That's very true. Outside obligations do come up and make it hard to do things online. Many issues could arise this time of year, I'm just saying how the schedule has been very inconsistent as of recent. Not upset about no page, just realizing it has been late almost every week as of recent.

Fun fax, Vennie is actually cannon in the Archie Comics. Just noticed it. Issue 257, Sonic is rescuing two kids, one human, one hedgehog. You can see it for yourself. (Ok I know-it-all not actually vennie but they look exactly alike)

LOL! The impression I have of the last panel is that even the fire was petrified who-knows-how-long-ago, but kept its glowing properties. Crystallized flames are definitely awesome.
