The first of my Celtic Gods series. There's something not quite right about this one though. Gah....Background: (told ya I'd use it! Though it turned out for something quite different...heh!)

HMmmmn, nice. It is almost like she is dwelling in shadow, visible to the world of light and darkness. I like it. THe BG...reminds me of back east in the U.S O.o
Only thing (and its only because its my point of view, not your talent.) The girl seems a bit...young to be The Morrighan. I'm just weird, pay no heed

Hehe! Thanks again, hun! Yeeeah...I know....but it's impossible to find any 'older woman' stock in DA...none I could manip to be riding a horse, anyway. Besides, it actually started off to be an image of a priestess of Avalon.....heh!

Eh I sketched a 'Morrighan' last night but its nothing much. My printer/scanner isn't even hooked up at the moment heh heh...

Really nice concept. The edges of the horse, rider & birds are quite sharp which really push it out from the background. Perhaps you could soften these edges a little. Other than that, great job!

Still don't quite understand what you mean. They're all photos - the background is one photo, with telephone lines and fences removed using the healing tool in photoshop, the horse is another photo, slightly colour changed to try to match the lighting in the background photo. The woman and cloak is taken from another photo, again, colour changed to try to match the lighting in the background photo (difficult, because the photo of her was taken inside, and studio lighting is very different to natural lighting), and the ravens were 3d renders (and I still have to find a way to blend 3d renders into photos and make it look realistic...)
