Description
Fault Line- 10 Years
I felt you cut free turning cold shoulders to me
Growing blame lines communicating lies
Nothing more to trust fallacies of love
Killing all that holds you
Bring me back to this what you said useless
Leave me I'll shed my skin these scars will mend
Don't worry about me the heart is supposed to bleed
Purity is drained
Help each other die
I see it, I see it in your eyes
Killing all that holds you
Bring me back to this what you said useless
Leave me I'll shed my skin these scars will mend
Eyes twitch and lies itch of nervous
Eyes twitch and lies itch from a nervous ending
Innocence is ugly in the one who is guilty
Bring me back to this what you said useless
Leave me I'll shed my skin these scars will mend

Alright, so I'm quite proud of this one ^_^ Not sure how much reason there is to that. Just another thing I've always wanted to try, that picture with the water flowing out of the frame onto the ground. Twas exciting
This is my second and only other entry to =Dina-bv 's "Art inspired by movies, books, and music" contest. Not only is this piece inspired by the song (which I will get to in a minute), but it is also inspired by the degree to which music is held in my life. I actually play the violin, which is both something I will study and use as a career, as well as something that is an emotional release with fun. Music is a large part of me, and the woman with the violin is very close to me, which is what brings me into this manipulation. Also, this song is something that I've felt is sort of involved with my life within the last two weeks. I've felt scarred by love, as well as betrayed and left lonely. So, the model is in white, which is an additional symbol to the feeling of innocence and perhaps naΓ―vetΓ© that comes with love and that feeling of being hurt from this love... The melancholy air that this piece has portrays that, the violinist seeming depressed with her head down. The water could perhaps be seen as a symbol of her overflowing pain as it spills out from the inside of the painting down onto the floor, for who is so strong that they cannot hide hurt of that proportion? The waves have come crashing down and it is too much for even the pause in time that the painting once caused (like that feeling of being evergreen while one is in love) and its pouring forth as it comes down and is no longer something of joy, but sorrow.

Wow, very unique and beautiful; I love where the painting is positioned in your composition and how the water streams out of it

It looks like she's on a stage, getting ready or just finishing playing while some sort of mystical mirror brings the water in. I love it, it all looks well done!
