Description
It has been five year, exploration and colonization has been boosted exponentially, with new settlements popping up, and old ones growing to towns. But, a border dispute splits the area, one side siding with the town of Eroneth, the other with Uthar, Rothgar and Rimthar are the only two settlements not sided with either or.Note: Not included on this map are, small settlements, and hamlets. And of course, landmark names and the like, blah, blah, blah. And please click 'download image' to see full size.

Really? xD I was actually quite worried about the rivers, they're probably the second feature that bothered me the most on this map; first being the rivers. But, thanks!

the technique you used for created something like that. more precise was, the look.

Let's see, all I did was load up the PSD in Sai Paint Tool and use that to draw in the river shapes, went back over to Photoshop and applied the same textures on the water, only a bit darker. I think, that to get the shape right, it just takes practice.

Is there a chance you can do a tutorial on mountain ranges?

If I do this style again, i'll make some notes of my process and make a tutorial out of it, but some of my workflow in this was taken from Pasis's maps at the Cartographersguild.com, and thats where I made the basis of this style. So, you can probably check to see if you can scrounge any information there.
So, maybe to the tutorial.
