Finally got around to doing one of my old favorites. One thing that was holding me back was the fact that I don't really like a lot of Meowth's sprites. Sometime after gen I the design team forgot that only Team Rocket's Meowth stood on its hind legs. The anime always showed other Meowths walking like cats, but the games started treating it like the whole species was bipedal. And then it spread to Purrloin... But enough ranting.I really like this little guy. He looks so playful, and I really love cute things that still incorporate the vertical pupils.

looks awesome! i agree with you on the meowth sprites. i don't really like him standing up and almost every sprite of him is. even tho they explained in the anime that he was the only one that could walk and talk.

It's actually a pixel over of another image. I found this full pokedex in chibi-style a long time ago, but when I saved it the resolution was so bad everything ended up really tiny and pixely. So I started cleaning them up with a sprite editing program to use for perler projects.

Wow, That's interesting, and it kinda sounds a little complicated. I've mostly just been using pixel sprites based off of video games, and using the grid on one of those paint things that's on every computer.
