Update(s):

- Realm of Shadow (A pocket dimensional prison created by Lord Zalgo 10,000 years ago as a source of complete banishment for individuals with too much godlike power for a mortal, such as Sonic.EXE; this world is also Sonic.EXE's home) has been added from the RPG Maker VX Ace version of the World Map as a completely separate part of the world map. (just like in the RPG Maker VX Ace World Map)

- The original look of Realm of Shadow has been improved to be larger and more explorable, much like other regions unveiled in the RPG Maker VX Ace version of the World Map, in order to sustain a total of at least 10 visits (2 mandatory, and 8 minor post-story events) from Sonic's team. (as Realm of Shadow remains exclusive to Sonic, an unchanged factor in the story)

- Realm of Shadow's overworld view on the world map doesn't show it, but it has been altered into a dungeon-like region with a total of 100 basement floors to make it the Sonic series equivalent of the extremely difficult Pit of 100 Trials from Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door. (the 100th Basement Floor being Sonic.EXE's lair)

- A soldier from Lord Zalgo's army is confirmed to be in charge of guarding the entrance to the 1st basement floor as a test of strength. (to see if any who attempt to enter the dungeon in the pocket dimension can truly take it on)

- One of the Zalgo Incarnates is confirmed to be the main story boss that only appears on the second visit; Inverted Smile Dog. (aka Zalgofied Smile Dog) There are three more that appear in the post-story events before Sonic.EXE's Lair, but their identities are currently a secret.

- It can be confirmed that much like the Void, this region is a different dimension. However, the means to access it are different.

Last future upcoming update to the World Map: Space Paranoids and The Grid will soon be added as the final confirmed region for the story as a realm that can be accessed in Mobitropolis by using Nicole as a means to enter the virtual mainframe. Sonic gets access to Space Paranoids, while Spitfire gets access to The Grid.
