Hasbro was defending their trademark not their copyright. A trademark can lose its value. Jan was calling his series by a different name. And he got a lot of views, thus HASBRO had to say stop. Because the name my little pony is being mistitled, hasbro's trademark on my little pony, just lost its value. It's terribly confusing.
