Okay, the first of the new colored pages. No more colored pages from a while back and from here on out has to be colored by me. So it's kind of an interesting comparison of my previous color stylings and how I color things now. Though saying that (and probably rather confusingly at that), I tried to keep the basic color look closer to how I was coloring things before hand, though with mixing in some of the little techniques I've learned since then. Though the last panel is closer to how I color things now, it's still an interesting study.
Oh, and second interesting study as I was relearning how I did that damn bruise around Missy's eye as I went along on this page.

Panels 1, 2 & 3: Missy is taking some good speed technique punches here with a good left followed by a 1-2. They're still hurting her and there's some force behind it but still not enough to get past Missy's iron jaw that she's so famous for. Though I don't ccare how the blood came totally off (and the sweat as well), I still think it looks rather decent.

Panel 4: A panel to really show that while yes, Missy is taking some good punches that she's still got quite a bit left in the tank to take a big shot at Cathy who just lives for letting fighters take a big swing at her like that (usually with a counter).
And yeah, that is me trying a shadow effect again like I tried in that Don't Get Cocky pic ([link] ), but I think this one turned out better, though not by much).
Funny fact, I had completely forgotten that the wrist portions on Missy's gloves were red and had left them black until I posted the Yama made cover pic before this one where I noticed them there and had to scramble to fix it. It'll look better next time, promise.
Panel 5 & 6: Cathy's taunts aren't going over so well with a part-time hothead like Missy as she's shown to spout out whatever as a comeback because of various taunts that somehow land her into deeper trouble during matches (usually with the next panel depicting a fist or a foot in her face). And please don't ask me about those screwed up shoulders, I didn't want to change any of the line work (though was tempted to do so) because I wanted to at least show where I was artwise when I was doing this comic.
Open Panel: More my current coloring style and where things start to get more violent in the story as now it's on. The more darker shift in the tone in story I try to depict in the borders and in the panels themselves start to grow darker in colors.

Next page should come quickly, but the page after that should take a while as I realized the damn page has 10 (!!!) panels. What the hell was I thinking!?

Missy does belong to Yama. And be cool Missy fans, this match isn't going to be a total squash.
