Description
Time for a change! It's been like this for a while, but people wanted to see. This is the result of installing Windows Service Pack 2, a newer version of StyleXP with the included 521 theme, a new wallpaper, courtesy of *aarora , installing Rainlendar with the Multipass skin, and WinAMP 5 with the matching Multipass skin .Whew, that was a long list.
FYI, the blurred out items on the ToDo list are blurred out for a reason. ^_^.

That's a really cool desktop...I need to get a computer of my own so I can mess with it and put what I want in the bg and adjust the settings for myself. Instead, at the momment, we have two computers, neither one solely mine, and my family doesn't like it when I change the bg and other things. Btw, nice music you've got going there, Getbackers is a cool series...

Since I use trillian, I downloaded the Azarro skin, it goes good with the Multipass themed stuff ^^ Just thought id let you know, along with anyone else using trillian that wants the theme too ^^ I'll shut up now

It's strange. Every time I think I've seen everything that can be done with those abstract-3D background, I see something totally different. To be honest, those look like metal shavings from a lathe or something.

LOL!! Metal shavings from a lathe? Interesting. I just liked the shapes and the way it looked like it was writhing in tangles. Not to mention that the color fits my color scheme well.. XD

You see, there was this whole issue with downloading SP2. While it was downloading, I couldn't look at my desktop. And Rainlendar has that annoying ability to disappear when I want it to show up for a photo.

I refuse to install SP2, I hear such horrible things about it. SP1 works just fine for me and that's all that matters.

I've got nothing bad to say about it... yet. It installs a pop-up blocker for IE, and a firewall and security center etc... which I find not to be too bad an idea. It's about time Windows came with its own firewall and security stuff. What bad things have ye heard?

Welll, I've seen it not completely install and thus, ruining the setup and, sometimes, the operating system. Also, I've seen it make computers amazingly sluggish and unstable. Plus, it causes some programs not to function at all. I don't know, I personally don't trust M$ or their "upgrades" one bit.

I suppose I could sympathize with that...
I mean, I'm on dialup, as you ALL know. And it took me like 4 nights to download the stupid service pack. And even then, I had to go and manually download it instead of letting trusty old auto-updater in the systray do it. It took a long time to install (I'm running a 2.66GHz here), and it destroyed compatibility with a few small utilities (StyleXP being one of them). Now that I think of it, I guess it wasn't that great of an update. But if not for it, I wouldn't have gone and upgraded Styles, and gotten myself a pretty new skin. ^_^

I'm very proud of it.. even though I didn't make any of it. -_-; I have far too much fun with new widgets and skins. ^_^. It actually annoys me when they disable desktop customization at school and I can't put my own wallpaper or stuff like that on it.
