Okay so I drew these two like I had been meaning to. Seriously can we all take a minute to realize just how important they were to each other.
Longtail and Mousefur were the only elders in the den for the longest time, his death devastated her for more then one reason. Also there was that moment in the final battle when he saw her die and was so angry that he killed the cat who’d done it. Longtail was never that angry after the first book six books.
Longtail could get Mousefur to eat when she didn’t want to.
Sorry, I just really wanted to say that. Neither of them had a mate at any point and I think their relationship with each other was the closes they got to having one. It was obvious whether in a family or intimate way that these two love each other.
Anyway, this was just an appreciation post for these two’s relationship
