BIO: Growing up in the middle of a world at war is never an easy thing to do. Angel X was raised by her sister, Neon, only a few years older than herself. The girls lived with a few other families on the edge of Westopolis, learning how to fly planes, build computers, and live off the grid. Once the war started, the boundaries were deemed unsafe, so Angel, Neon, and cousin Max made the journey to the central hub of Westopolis. It was there, in the burned-out shell of what once housed a company that made safes and fire extinguishers, that they joined the Resistance. Training was grueling work, running and fighting and getting slashed and bruised and learning chemistry and reading tactical books and carrying heavy things for miles. It was all worth it, though. They fought back, and pushed the invading forces out of Westopolis altogether. Pretty soon, the microcosm had an economic system up and running... it was time to go out into the world. Angel was assigned squad leader of #19, although leadership had never been her strong suit. Leading her close friends into potentially fatal battles? Not at the top of her 'to-do' list. However, she felt the responsibilities were hers now, and she would do them as well as she could. The newly-formed squad and its sister squad, #20, carved out an underground maze in Green Hill Zone, conducting the occasional raid, fighting off the occasional watchbot, honing their techniques until they felt they were ready for anything. However, three years is a long time to spend in proximity with the same sixteen people, and it was all getting a bit strained, but hey, it was life....
Or, well, it was. Then everything changed.
