Description The character I'm currently playing in my Pathfinder campaign (also known as D&D 3.75), the gnome bard Spackle Thrush .

I normally play pretty serious characters, but I was starting to feel those were really boring. So I decided to create a character with dang near no offensive capabilities and give her the most positive personality in the history of tabletop gaming.

We're playing the Carrion Crown adventure path. We've just finished the Haunting of Harrowstone part. I think I might be to pretend to be a lawyer for a sentient flesh golem in the next part.

I'm still really useful to the party, since that +1 from my bardic inspire courage has really helped out in many a situation when in combat, and I'm awesome in most situations outside combat. Even my once per day speak with animals spell is super useful.

My greatest achievement so far: defeating a Poltergeist through the power of basic courtesy and friendship.

That's some serious RolePlaying right there. you role played so good you talked your way out of a feight with a ghost -.- My group would have screwed that up instantly what with the attack first jump up and down on the corpse next then see if it can answer questions latter tactic they seem to use way to often. -.-

Later on in the game we found out you're not really supposed to be able to Diplomatize in the middle of a battle, but I think the DM let it slide because I was trying to do something other that just beat it up.

well it makes the game more appealing. If you think about it, in a real fight it'd be tottally possible to stop it and try for a peaceful solution.
