"Squirrel was my first and only fan-experiment. His number was 628 and, according to a long-dead fanfic I wrote, was designed after 627 was deemed a failure.

Squirrel has all of Stitch's strengths, but also has some unique powers of his own. Squirrel can control the growth of all plantlife, making trees and other plants grow as fast or slow as he wants. Another interesting thing about him is the fact that the "inability to be turned to good" feature that 627 had was not given to 628. Apparently, Jumba thought this feature was more trouble than it was worth, and discarded it in his future experiments.

Unlike Stitch, Squirrel loves the water and rain seems to make him healthy again if he gets sick or injured. Of course, his pod was placed into safe keeping after the 627 ordeal. It gets activated when Leroy (aka Experiment 629) breaks out of jail and steals Jumba's spaceship. The pod falls out of the safe and into a glass of water that Leroy was drinking.

Although Leroy and Squirrel don't like each other at first, they become friends.

Squirrel's one true place is working for National Parks by restoring forests that are destroyed."
