Funny you mentioned fractals. In Book II, the little girl, Anusha, hands Ozma a picture of fractals-in which Anusha had calculated the mathematics for each step in her head!

That would be some very impressive brain power because these images take several hours to calculate on my computer, but I guess in Oz most anything is possible
