Description
J sighed with agitation. He hadn’t seen himself in five years, and he certainly wasn’t as good a looking fellow he presumed.
He really was cocky, wasn’t he?
Anyhow, as you may have guess... Well, if you haven’t, I’m not going to spoil it for you. Anyway, you may know this blue haired maniac’s plan by now. He was going to use Robyn in order to escape.
Luckily, they’d been subject to a test.
A test he had arranged.
J carefully walked through the dark, his eyes adjusting from the bright light from the room in the dark.
He passed empty cages, only a couple having his beautifully disfigured siabs. Now the Australian had to admit: He was pretty messed up.
A necrophiliac, a masochist, and a sociopath.
They probably wouldn’t let him into society.
Before he’d been captured, he had indeed contemplated murdering his father.
Oh, how he simply hated his old dad.
The man always disapproved of his son’s lifestyle, extreme sports.
A large clang interrupted J’s thoughts, and he heard Robyn whimper quietly with fear. He let another small smile spread over his lips, at the noise of pure fear.
Hoping to one day cause such a noise.
“J...” A quiet whisper came from behind him, causing the Aussie to look up for the molding floor.
“Yes love?” he asked quietly, his voice a bit raspy.
“What do you suppose the “siren song” is?”. Robyn asked quietly, staring intently at the back in front of her.
She’d thought about grabbing J’s arm out of fear, but ignored it. She wouldn’t dream of touching such a man.
She’d saw how he’d reacted to being shocked. He was in pure bliss.
And it was sickening.
J pursed his lips, thinking for a moment. He supposed he couldn’t lie.
“Well, the Siren Song Effect, or S.S.E, is when they take one of the prisoners and allow them to try to escape using clues to distinguish reality from hallucinations that inflict with us. Now, if I’m correct, then they release other prisoners as well and see if they can find each and help, or die trying. Kind of like the movie Saw... You ever see that movie?”
J explained quickly, his accents slurring a few words.
“Y-yeah... So, we have to try to find other people and escape with them?” the girl asked, tripping slightly on something.
“Mhmm.” J simply replied, letting out content sigh.
“Isn’t it beautiful in here?” he asked nonchalantly, glancing around.
Robyn blinked. All she could see was darkness. Seemingly miles and miles of darkness, moaning siabs, and iron bars.
“I suppose you don’t think so... Perhaps, I should truly introduce myself. I’m J, the psychopath. I hate my dad, and love extreme sports.”
After a short pause, he added, “How about you?”, genuine interest sparking his voice.
The least he could do was calm the girl down. He wasn’t made of stone, you know.
Sadistic, but not made of stone.
“Well... My name is Robyn Hayes... I’m twenty, I think. And I-”
A loud bump made her jump in surprise, and she almost latched onto J’s arm.
Almost.
She heard J snort, as her fingers brushed the man’s arm. “Shut up...” she hissed, latching onto her pride.
“Hmph. No matter, love. I can understand a person like you can be scared”
J murmured, and Robyn could feel the grin on his face.
“What-” “Shh-!” J hissed, stopping quickly and turning to look at Robyn.
She blinked in surprise, stopping before she ran into J.
“Do you hear that...?” he murmured, a small grin spreading across his lips as he eyed the girl behind him.
“H-hear what...?” she murmured, looking around.
“The noise.”
“What noise?”
Clank. Clank. Clank.
