Grr.. I would feel bad faving two of them like that. But I think I'm gonna anyway. I love the cracks, the shifts in tone on the sand with them.

the smoothness of the sand makes it feel hard, yet the footprints break through that hardness, though the footprints also seem like they have hardened

nice shot this, i like the prints themselves and the watermarks on the sand. could maybe do with something else in the frame as it just feels a little empty. maybe if the prints were a little closer together you could have cropped in on them a bit more, make them more dominant in the picture.
