Description
Gríðr, also known as Rinder, was a powerful witch and warrior giantess, daughter of Angrboða and great friends with Thor, whom she loved more than anything and later had Móði with him, but after the death of Baldr, was deceived by Odin when the Allfather turned himself into Thor and used her to birth his own sons: Víðarr and Váli Ódinson.

In three days, the boys had turned into full grown men and while one was tasked with the mission of hunting down Loki, Víðarr became the avenger of gods.

This made Gríðr feel betrayed and a pure hatred for Odin lit inside of her heart, and that hatred was passed down, but dilluted, to Víðarr.
