My take on Dr. Robotnik. I always imagined him as a cybernetic being so thats why I made him with no cloths so that I can show his modifications to his own body.Related content

I like to imagine he used to have blue eyes and a round head, and his use of chaos energy made his head pointy, his eyes black and red(they are mutated, not cybernetic.) oversized and exposed eardrums that he had to cover with metal stubs, so he has super hearing, but can turn down the sensitivity in loud environments, as loud noies cause him pain. The cyborg look is OK. But I personally see robotnik as being happy as he was, and despite losing part of his left leg and right arm, he actually tries to use stem cells to restore his old body, he is ashamed of being a cyborg and hides his robot parts, to appear invincible. He makes his enemies into robots to subjugate them, but he sees himself, in his organic form, as nature's masterpiece, and apart from humans, any other sentient animal as a threat. That's just my views.

In your story you said Robotnik and Snively are Humanoids, an evolved version of the human race. mind telling me what is the difference between humans and your humaniods?

Evolved in the sense they decided to embrace genetic engineering and they consider themselves above human. Its still a work in progress but I kinda don't want the freedom fighters or the audience to know their whole story immediately but uncover it little by little. So at first it looks like they have prosthetics, then eventually they will learn they are more machine then they had thought.

Okay now In one of my satam fanfic ideas is to have (shudder!) chris thorndyke in one of them but he is going to be WAY different then the one in sonic X. he is going to be 16 years old and has a litte sister named molly. In my fic his family were astronauts who crashed their ship on mobius and his parents were robotizied by robotnik. then he and his sister were found by the freedom fighters and now live in knothole. Antoine is the only one who doesn't like them because they are robotniks species, he even calls them "Ze Hairless Apes". cool ideas right?

Thanks I change him alot. I'm not going to include him in my initial project, I want to make a short 5 minute animation with sonic fighting a motobug. I have alot of ideas jumping around in my head and I write them down or draw them out to kind of save it. I also have a script for two episodes that could be 5 minutes each. But I don't want to get ahead of myself and flesh out characters when I'm still doing the motobug. So I don't really need to do any concepts outside of the Sonic vs Motobug fight for now. And then again the designs for the motobug and the actual bug it is copying is complete. I need to develope Sonic. I did not flesh out any backgrounds. I may use my 3D renders to do a photoshop image as concept and an animatic. I want to put my story up cause there are characters that I havn't put a face on.

Ok if you need help just let me know. I have only done an animatic with Adobe after effects and some animations. But simple, nothing like your website stuff. I am an illustrator more than I am anything else unfortunately.

Later on I would need to design Snively and Sally, and a bunch of other background characters. It should be fun. I hope I don't run into a million problems creating Sonic in 3D. I'll keep your skills in mind. Thanks.

How did his legs become roboticized? In Blast to the Past part 2, only his left arm was roboticized by Sonic.

I wrote a totally new script for the universe and in my script humans are created as such. I want to stray away from every other story arc and present something totally new, so he is essentially a cyborg.

I haven't decided on that, the story I wrote just has a couple of characters and one common nemesis (Dr. Robotnik). I would like to explore options for snively cause I like his character but I wanted to develop the actual character models before I go to far in writing. I have my concept art of what I want them to look like, now I'm going to model them and get them moving properly. I did a few characters before but never made a full rig and I don't want to jump the gun so I'm going to run tests before I create hype about a film short.
But what do you think Snively should be? I was thinking of making him just aassistantnt with no real comical relieve as I felt he was in the satam. I remember him being always scared of Robotnik and I don't think I want to give him that personality. I may give him a more sinister emotive, like he gets off on seeing Robotnik do sinister things. I want more realism, more evil, more human properties of him.

Maybe ya could make Snively like GlaDOS from Portal. He would be an entire computer system that would operate on digital commands from Cyborg Robotnik.

Well even though Robotnik is Cyborg, he still is more human than machine.... well his brain is still human, and I want to show that by having him and Snively actually have conversation and interact. In the story Robotnik and Snively are refered to as Humanoids, an evolved version of the human race. I don't want to limit the characters, so I could have a computer AI and snively and robotnik.
