What if the Ark crash landed on Earth a couple of hundred million years earlier and the crew weren't reformatted into cars etc, but dinosaurs??Sideswipe is different to the others in that there was no official Ankylosaurus dinobot to base him on- I went for the ankylosaurus as I thought it was perfect for the name 'Sideswipe'- He'd literally swipe his tail to the side to smash Decepticons.
As he is still Sunstreaker's twin brother, and sunstreaker is now a Stegosaurus, I took that model and 'ankylosaurised' it. He transforms just like his G1 countach version, but now his tail flip up and around to form his shins and feet. The dinosaur head doesn't just disappear- it folds away into his chest.

Nah, this was just a quick 'give the autobots with S names dinosaur versions' project. I suppose Starscream and Skywarp could be candidates, but they'd just be recoloured erodactyls like Skyfire.

Having them all carry recognisable weapons/missile launchers certainly helps them look more their G1 counterparts.
I might even use this body for one of my other Dinobot OCs too.
