Night Convoy.....another 'all black and silver transformer repaint that got a limited release in Japan'- this time at JAFCON2000. www.tfu.info/2000/Cybertron/JA…
I've tried to explain in his bio how a single robot/vehicle could ever be called 'Convoy'- a term used to describe a group of vehicles. I've also had a little try at explaining where these trailers go.....Night Convoy does have a little truck minion in the shape of Blacktop, but he'd be too busy fighting to hitch up to Night Convoys trailer and go and park it somewhere safe every time he transformed!
It was too good an opportunity to miss having him as the leader of the Chain Gang minibots-

seeing as they're all the same colour and were only released in Japan.

Hmm... you've given me an idea!
Optimus using a different identity to take on missions that he needs to do, but would damage his reputation. Not saying that's what this is (although it would make sense, given how Optimus-like Night Convoy is, and how nobot knows his real name) but thanks for the neat idea.

There was the BAPE chamoflage version that could be quite a good idea.
If he is to be used as a commander then a possible name could be Churchill?
