Yessir.  This was a Wichita built aircraft. The acft is a B-29-70-BW, AFSN 44-69972.

Thanks for the link. There was also a Martin plant in Omaha NB that built the 'Silverplate' nuclear bombers like this example:

Recently watched THE PACIFIC WAR IN COLOR: EPISODE 5 STRIKING DISTANCE and

from that episode on ... a lot of new B29s in late 1944.  The Battle of Iwo Jima

(19 February – 26 March 1945) fought for them to have a place to land safely if

damaged.  Most have forgotten how close we came to ... at least not winning.
